Vicki Stott

Vicki is a higher education quality, strategy, governance and planning specialist with extensive senior leadership experience in UK institutions, most recently as Chief Executive of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in the UK, and as President of the International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies for Higher Education (INQAAHE), globally.

She now runs a small consulting practice, helping clients navigate the operational challenges posed when education policy, regulatory expectations, institutional strategy and day-to-day operations intersect.

I’m proud to become a trustee of Open Awards because its mission to ‘change lives through learning’ aligns deeply with my own values and experience in higher education

Throughout my career I’ve seen how the right qualification, at the right time, can open doors that once felt closed and I’m looking forward to working with the team to help ensure our qualifications remain rigorous, inclusive and genuinely life-enhancing.”

Jasmin Lewis-Keedwell

Jasmin is a senior leader turned consultant, specialising in strategic development, organisational innovation and assessment design within the education, skills, and apprenticeship sectors.

With extensive experience leading (most recently) a specialist assessment organisation, she is known for driving innovation, quality initiatives, regulatory excellence, and stakeholder engagement across vocational and professional learning environments.

She is passionate about improving assessment standards, particularly in highly regulated sectors, supporting workforce development, and shaping the future of skills and qualifications to support the industrial strategy.

“Drawing on my experience within assessment, highly regulated sectors, apprenticeships, and organisational innovation, I am able to contribute to important conversations about how we can continue to improve outcomes for learners while maintaining the highest standards

For me, this role is about more than governance; it is about making a meaningful difference, to help create pathways that enable people to gain confidence, develop skills, achieve recognised qualifications, and progress in their careers and lives to support our economy. Knowing that our work ultimately helps learners access new opportunities and fulfil their ambitions is what makes serving as a Trustee of Open Awards such a rewarding and fulfilling experience.”
