Job Summary
Open Awards are excited to be expanding the range of apprenticeship standards for which we offer end-point assessment.
We are actively recruiting Lead End-point Assessors and End-point Assessors for each of the following apprenticeship standards:
Level 3 - Youth Worker (ST0906) |

Specifically, we are on looking for End-point Assessors to support the delivery of this Standard in North-west England. Please see the role descriptor for detailed information. |

Level 3 - Junior Energy Manager (ST0161) |
|
Specifically, we're on the lookout for experts who are a member of a recognised professional body relevant to the occupation/ standard (e.g., Energy Managers Association) and with knowledge and of energy management. |
|
Level 6 - Agriculture and Horticulture Professional Adviser (ST0761) |
|
Specifically, we're on the lookout for experts who are a member of the BASIS Professional Register with their FACTS Qualified Adviser (FAQ) status fully up to date, and holding a BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection for Field Sales and Technical Staff (FSTS) and FACTS qualified. We're looking for people with knowledge of occupational areas of Crop Protection and Plant Nutrition. |

Level 7 - Regulatory Affairs Specialist (ST0586) |

Specifically, we're on the lookout for experts in the areas of: Regulatory CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls); Veterinary; Food; Cosmetics; Japanese Market; CTAs (Clinical Trial Applications). |

Level 2 - Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic (ST0805) |
|
We are particularly interested in hearing from mechanics within the construction, plant and tool hire industry as well as allied industries such as rail plant, demolition and quarrying that use construction-based equipment. You will have experience of servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of construction-based equipment such as mobile cranes, excavators, disc cutters, crushers, demolition plant, road-rail equipment, water pumps, telescopic handlers etc. |

Level 3 - Engineering Construction Erector Rigger (ST0433) |
|
We are interested in hearing from individuals with relevant experience in working on major infrastructure projects involving the erection and dismantling and decommissioning of steel structures and engineering construction plant. For the erector role you will have experience in the installation and dismantling of the capital plant steel infrastructure which makes up engineering and construction projects. For the rigger role you will have experience of lifting, moving and positioning of loads during engineering construction projects. |

Level 5 - Rail and rail systems engineer (ST0495) |
|
We are interested in hearing from engineers with rail specific technical engineering knowledge relating to a specific aspect of the railway. You will have experience in at least one of the following specialist areas: rail specific civil engineering, rail track, rail signalling and control, rail systems & integration, rail traction and rolling stock, rail telecommunications, network and digital and rail electrical, mechanical and building services. |

Level 2 – Industrial Coatings Applicator (ST0463) |
|
We are particularly interested in hearing from industrial coatings applicators or individuals with relevant work experience in an industrial coatings environment, such as in a testing or inspection role. You will have knowledge and experience of both preparing and protecting the surface of new and existing steel structures that may include bridges, sports stadia, wind turbines, and buildings used for example as power generation facilities, high rise offices, schools, colleges, hospitals, hotels and warehouses, as well as more minor structures. |

Level 4 - BEMS (Building Energy Management Systems) Controls Engineer |
|
We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience gained designing mechanical, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and electrical systems to enable energy efficient control of the internal environment of buildings. You will have diverse experience gained through control, performance and efficiency of energy usage and comfort control in industrial/ commercial /public buildings. In addition, you will also have experience gained through servicing & maintenance, fault finding if there are problems with the system and energy performance reviews. |

Level 3 - Teaching Assistant |
|
We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience gained from in primary, secondary, special schools, alternative provision, and further education institutions such as sixth forms and colleges. You will have knowledge and experience of supporting teachers to enhance learners’ progress and development either in groups or individually within a safe and stimulating learning environment. You will also have direct experience gained through supporting learners with special educational needs and disabilities and learners with social, emotional, and mental health vulnerabilities. |
We are also recruiting for Subject Leads and writers / reviewers to support the development of end-point assessment materials for each of these standards. If interested, individuals can also be considered for these additional development roles.
