Open Awards is pleased to be offering the new Level 2 qualification: Adult and Social Care Certificate from 3rd June 2024.
FUNDING UPDATE
The Government issued a statement on 30th July 2024 confirming that the £53.91 million Adult Social Care Training and Development Fund will not be going ahead due to fiscal pressure for 2024/25.
The statement includes a commitment to continuing to provide funding for Adult Social Care Learning and Development, with the budget maintained at the previous level of spend. Further updates on this funding will be shared with our providers when as/when we receive them.
We know this will be disappointing for our providers. Open Awards want to confirm that the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate is still available for delivery and we are continuing to support providers to prepare their courses.
