Replacement Certificate Information
Replacement certificates will be issued in the name awarded on the original certificate.
For Access to Higher Education - if you require a replacement certificate to apply to university and you achieved your certificate some time ago we strongly advise you to contact the admissions office at the university as they may have entry criteria that requires applicants to demonstrate evidence of recent study (usually within the last 3-5 years).
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost for a replacement certificate can be found on our pricing page.
Replacement certificates will be posted within 10 working days of receipt of authenticated claims and once payment has been received and processed.
HOW DO I REQUEST IT?
To request a replacement certificate please complete the Learner Reissue Request form.
Depending on payment method and note below with regard to amendments the form and scanned copy of your ID can be emailed to [email protected]
WHAT ABOUT AN AMENDMENT TO MY CERTIFICATE?
If you would like an amendment made to your certificate, you must:
- Return the certificate to us
- Complete the Learner Reissue Request form (using the amendment section)
- Include one form of identification from the following list: Birth Certificate, Naturalisation Certificate, Statutory Declaration of Name Change or Deed Poll Certificate.
Exemptions:
There are individuals who are exempt by law from charges for the reissue of documentation under the Equality Act 2010. If you feel this may apply to you please let us know.
A transgender person who changes their name for the purposes of gender reassignment should make a request for their certificate to be reissued in their new name by completing the reissue request form and providing proof of ID and name change. They must return their original certificate. Certificates will be reissued FREE of charge.
