Yes, but significant changes (for example changes to learning outcomes, assessment methods, duration, or delivery model) must be reviewed to ensure the micro-credential remains valid and quality assured. 

There is no fixed limit. Providers can submit multiple courses for accreditation, but each course must be reviewed individually as part of the micro-credential accreditation process. 

Yes. Employer-specific or client-specific training can be accredited as a micro-credential, provided the learning outcomes and assessment requirements remain robust and clearly documented. 

Yes. Existing courses can be accredited, but they may require adjustments to ensure they align with micro-credential expectations, such as: 

  • rewriting learning outcomes to be measurable 
  • clarifying progression routes and target learners 

Yes. Micro-credentials are perfect for accrediting your own, bespoke training courses.

No. Open Awards Micro-Credentials are not regulated qualifications, but they are formally accredited and quality assured. This means delivery, assessment and outcomes are externally validated to robust UK standards. 

Yes, we can accredit your in-house training courses and award certificates that will be recognised by other awarding bodies, colleges and employers. There are a range of options available including regulated qualifications, quality endorsed units, Badge of Excellence courses and micro-credentials.
