Awarding of Results - Summer 2026
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all students and apprentices the very best as they head into exam season. We know how stressful this can be so please remember our Open Awards webinars are still available, as well as training.
We would like to give you some useful tips and information to help you prepare for a smooth exam season and end to the academic year.
Our team are always available to help and support with any issues you may have between 8am-6pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm Friday and 09:00-12:30 on a Saturday on 0151-494-2072.
Open Awards will be aligning our results release with that of A-Levels, for courses due to end this academic year, and to release results on or before 13 August 2026.
To receive confirmation of your learners’ results by this date, please refer to the table below for the last exam/assessment dates; and for the deadline to upload results and associated documentation to us.
Any exams taken or results submitted after the dates below, will be processed within our standard timescales, which may be for a results release date beyond 13 August 2026.

Where qualifications/courses require verification by Open Awards and these have not gone successfully through external quality assurance (EQA), prior to submitting results it is expected that Providers upload evidence for verification. In the event that samples are incomplete or where EQA decisions have not confirmed assessment decisions Open Awards will seek additional information from the Provider. Providers should note that where staff are not available to deal with outcomes of EQA where results cannot be verified it may delay results release beyond 13 August 2026.

Access to Higher Education Qualifications
Results will be processed following the provider-specific Final Awards Board (FAB) date. All results will be submitted to UCAS by 21 July 2026 and certificates will be made available on or before this date.
