Our pre-Access qualifications provide learners with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills at Level 2 which link seamlessly to the curriculum of our most popular curricula within our Level 3 Access to HE Diploma.

Implementing a pre-Access programme at Level 2 can help improve the performance of Level 3 Access to HE Diploma courses by:

  • Giving less confident learners an opportunity to establish themselves at Level 2 before progressing to Level 3
  • Allowing subject-specific content to run alongside GCSEs preparation in English and/or Maths for learners that need to secure passes before progressing in their studies
  • Enabling learners to build their confidence in academic work before progressing onto graded Access to HE Diploma work
