Programme Approval Officer
Salary: £26,141 per annum
Full time: 35 hours week

Open Awards are seeking to appoint a highly self-motivated person to the role of Programme Approval Officer. Working as part of the Operations Team, you will play a key role supporting customers in offering Open Awards qualifications & courses and meeting the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and OfQual regulatory requirements. This post will manage the approval process of Open Awards programmes and courses, coordinate validation panels and monitor outcomes, and provide support and training to centres and colleagues on setting up and delivering Open Awards qualifications, programmes and courses.
The role involves communicating with centres, developing systems and procedures, meeting regulatory requirements, and working closely with the Customer Service Team and other teams to ensure service standards for approval processes are met.
This is a permanent full-time position based at our office in Speke, Liverpool and will mean some travel.
The successful applicant will need experience of developing and implementing processes and procedures, have excellent communication skills; excellent planning and organisational skills; have good IT skills, and have experience of leading individuals.
