Open Awards are an established national Awarding Organisation recognised and regulated by Ofqual and recognised by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) as an Access Validating Agency (AVA) based in Speke, Liverpool.
Salary: £31,220 per annum (pro rata)
Permanent Contract – Part-time (21 hours week)

Open Awards are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic highly self-motivated person to the role of Quality Reviewer. This post plays a key role in developing and supporting relationships with our providers and in assuring the high standards of quality and integrity of our qualifications and assessments, ensuring Open Awards verification processes are complying with regulatory requirements.
This is a permanent contract in a field based position. Applicant based in Midlands or South of England is preferred but will consider all applications on merit.
The role offers variety, and involves working as part of the Quality Team (which comprises of 3 other Quality Reviewers, 1 Quality Officer, 1 Quality Manager, and a team of External Verifiers/Moderators), work together with Centres and Open Awards colleagues concerning quality assurance and quality monitoring of Centres. You will provide day to day support to our providers.
You will be a self-starter with an eye for quality, a positive customer focussed approach, able to manage your own workload and able to work to tight/fixed timescales and meet deadlines. You will need to travel to meet the demands of the role and will need to attend meetings in Speke as required.
