Lead EQA Reviewer (Apprenticeships).

Open Awards is the External Quality Assurer (EQA) monitoring End Point Assessments for more than 200 Apprenticeship Standards, on behalf of the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education. We have the following vacancies.

Salary: £30,158 per annum (pro rata)

Permanent contracts

Open Awards are seeking to appoint enthusiastic highly self-motivated people to the role of Lead EQA Reviewer.  This post plays a key role in ensuring that End Point Assessments are rigorous and fit for purpose.  You will need to be able to work to an established Framework, meet strict deadlines, be personally resilient and ensure that actions/recommendations are implemented.

You need to be a qualified assessor and able to manage work within set priorities to an established set of principles. We are particularly keen to recruit people with occupational competence in: 

  • Care
  • Engineering and manufacturing
  • Creative and design
  • Health and science

However this is not an exhaustive list.

This is a field-based position and we would particularly welcome applications from people based in the Midlands and South England.   

The role offers variety, and involves working closely with a dedicated team of colleagues . 

You will need to travel to meet the demands of the role and will need to attend meetings in Speke as required.
