EQA Manager (Apprenticeships)
Open Awards is the External Quality Assurer (EQA) monitoring End Point Assessments for more than 200 Apprenticeship Standards, on behalf of the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education. We have the following vacancies.
Salary: £39,500 per annum

This is based within our Speke office and is not suitable for part-time or job share.
Open Awards are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic highly self-motivated manager to oversee our contract for External Quality Assurance for Apprenticeship standards. This post plays a pivotal role in ensuring that End Point Assessments are rigorous and fit for purpose. You will need to be able to work to an established Framework, meet strict deadlines, be personally resilient, ensure that others meet their deadlines and commitments; and ensure that actions/recommendations are implemented.
You need to be an experienced assessor and able to manage work within set priorities to an established set of principles. You should have project management or contract management experience and be able to use IT based systems to ensure Open Awards and the IFATE are up to date at all times.
The role offers variety, and involves working closely with a dedicated team of colleagues .
You will need to travel to meet the demands of the role and will need to attend meetings in London and Coventry as required.
