Making Effective Assessment Decisions

This session will guide providers through the full process of planning and delivering assessments, as well as ensuring effective internal and external quality assurance.

Delegates will:

• Gain a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of assessors and Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs).
• Learn how to implement assessment and quality assurance processes in line with Open Awards requirements.
• Explore examples of assessed learner work, with opportunities for group discussion around assessment decisions and outcomes.
• By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to apply robust and compliant assessment practices within their organisations.
