Open Awards Access to HE forums are regularly scheduled meetings which are designed to keep Access to HE providers up-to-date with changes in the industry and within Open Awards and to provide an excellent opportunity for providers to meet and discuss their experiences and current issues.
The next Forum will be held on Tuesday 23rd May 2017 at Salford City College 10am until 3pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided and parking is available on site.
Our key topics/activites at this Forum will include:
- Dr Glen Godenho, Acaemic Lead for Recruitment, Admissions and Widening Participation and Senior Lecturer in Egyptology at the University of Liverpool will be giving some pointers on preparing learners for HE
- FAB Support Surgeries and how they may help with the awards process and getting ready for the Final Awards Board (FAB)
- Mohammed Abdul from Salford City College will be talking about using rubrics in assessments and demonstrating the fantastic system he has created and giving some useful pointers
