The Open Awards Level 3 Access to HE (Higher Education) Diploma is a life changing qualification specifically designed for adult learners as an alternative route to A-Levels onto university degree courses.
Having now processed all Access to HE results, Open Awards would like to extend our congratulations to all learners who have achieved their Access to HE Diploma this year.
Katherine Wales, Open Awards Access to HE Manager, has said:
Having heard from our FE providers of the efforts made by Access to HE learners this year and seen lots of examples of their commitment, determination and high quality of work, I’m enormously proud of their achievement of the Access to HE Diploma. It’s incredibly well deserved!’
We are delighted that one of our Stockport College learners, Gemma Marchant, has been featured in an article in The Guardian, sharing her success.
Gemma is a recovering alcoholic and single mother who has experienced domestic abuse and struggled with her mental health. After completing an Access to Nursing diploma, she will study mental health nursing at Salford University.
